Rico is a spunky, energy-filled Chihuahua that joined our family a year ago. We adopted him from a shelter that had picked him up off the street. He weighed barely over a pound when we got him, and was his full height, far too thin! He needed love, and food, which we gladly provided. Now he's a plump, healthy four pounds.
Rico does not believe the stereotype that says all Chihuahuas are mean, yappy, bitey dogs. He is friendly to nearly everyone - once he is introduced of course. He does bark to warn us when someone is at the door, but that's a good thing. We love our little Chihuahua.
