How you doing? I'm Sage, a Shetland sheepdog. I've been with my new and final owner for almost eight years now. I used to be a conformation dog, but I grew a half inch too big. So I was sent back to the breeder. My forever mom was looking for a Sheltie to join her family when she found out my sister has some health concerns and could no longer show in activities mom loved. I will never forget the first day I meant her; I just loved her from the day I meant her. Lots of kisses and I was trying to impress her by herding the kitties. Well how could she resist such an adorable face?
I now am a agility and rally-o pup. I like agility the best though; I really show my speed and mom laughs because she can't keep up with me! She calls me a natural. Of course I am not always a angel, I like to chew up only mom's stuff. I am trying to prove to her that five nylabones, and zillion dog toys simply are not enough to keep me occupied. My brother loves me a lot too; he has never had a dog that was faster then him. Well I'm a sheltie, what do you expect?
