Pepper's age is not known because she was a stray that was turned into the local rescue. We think she is about seven or eight years old. We know she's some kind of Terrier mix, we suspect some Scottie in there, or mini schnauzer, but do not know, I was a foster home for dogs at that time and was her foster Mom. I fell in love with her almost the minute she walked into my house. In addition to her being so sweet looking she has some really unique qualities for a stray. I can go for a walk with her and not leash her and she never leaves my side. I find this quality hard to imagine for a stray.
Pepper also likes to cuddle at night while we are watching TV with her muzzle snuggled up under my neck. She also doesn't leave the yard when put outside and my yard is not fenced. I should be so lucky with my older dog. She has been a great help by giving my 13-year-old dog a companion to be with all day while I am at work. I think this has given Princess a new lease on life as she appears to be feeling and acting better.
I do think Pepper is truly a unique dog for being a stray and I love her dearly.
