We got Noelle around the Christmas holiday of 2010. She is so special. She is really a unique dog. We've always had bigger dogs and so having Noelle has been quite the experience. She absoutely loves riding in the car. When she realizes we are getting ready to go somewhere, she will go and sit by the door to the garage because she wants to go with us. If we leave without her, she whines really loud. If we take her with us, she will start out laying on someone's lap, but then she will jump down the floor and go under the seat.
She is a "people person" in dog form. She has to be with people all the time and she has to be touching people at all times to be content. She loves to sleep with people in their beds rather than her own - she likes her bed too, but she loves to be with people their bed. I'll put her on my bed and she'll either curl up into a ball on my blanket or she'll go under the covers and lay either right next to me or she'll lay on my legs. Noelle loves to be held and she loves to meet new people, but she doesn't like big groups of people she doesn't know, she'll get skittish.
Noelle rarely barks, unless someone rings the doorbell. We socialized her right away so that she wouldn't bark a lot like other Chihuahuas. She's not like those other Chihuahuas, she's not yippy like some. Noelle loves to play tug-of-war. If you pay her any attention, she'll go and get her favorite toy and bring it to you. She put her paw on it and stare at you until you play with her. Her eyes just like stare you down - it's impossible to say no! When she wants to get on the bed, she does this thing where she stands on her hind legs and puts her arms out in front of her so you can pick her up. She knows how to "walk tall" where she can walk about 5 steps on her hind legs.
Noelle is the cutest and best dog ever.
