Hi, My name is Holly (Little Bit) and my life is turning around. The Humane Society removed me from a horrible situation and put me in foster care. They posted my picture on Petfinder and my Mom saw it. I was perfect for her, a small senior girl. Unfortunately someone adopted me first. Mom was sad. Then she saw my picture on Petfinder again. Those people brought me back to the Humane Society (and foster care) because they lived in an apartment and didn't want to pay the pet deposit. Mom hurried and called the Humane Society to set up an appointment to adopt me.
I had been moved around so much I was naturally afraid when Mom put me in the carrier. I cried a lot on the way to my forever home.
Then I met some of my new family outside. They are used to Mom bringing home pups, most are rescued seniors themselves, so they just sniffed me and went on their way. We have a nice big fenced in yard to enjoy.
In the house, I discovered the food dishes. They are always full so we know there is plenty to eat. Next I found a bunch of pee pee pads. There are plenty of dog beds in the different rooms, but we are allowed to get on the couch and we can sleep in the bed with Mom. We keep her warm on cold nights.
At five and a half pounds, I'm the smallest dog Mom ever owned, but I am a real character and make her laugh.
This will be a great place to spend my golden years with all my new friends.
