Her name is Petrie (named after a "The Land Before Time" character). Her birthday is July 4, so she is almost eight years old. My own little firecracker! She is a mixed breed. Chihuahua and toy poodle. Petrie is special because I adopted her from animal control near my work. She has adapted very well to her new home and is so happy and playful! She quickly graduated from her obedience and trick training classes, in fact she was valedictorian!!!
Petrie is such a happy girl, and her joy is infectious. She is smart, friendly, but also a good "alarm system" - no one gets near the house without being announced. But once we acknowledge we have heard her, she stops. What a good girl! She makes me smile every day.
