This is my sweet little Pekinese, her name is Lexie. We live in Brandon, Mississippi. People ask if we give her a hair cut in hot weather, but we do not - the fluff is insulation, just like an insulated chest will keep cold food cold or hot foods hot! She does not mind being brushed, which is good, as her fluff is very soft, and we do not want her to get matts.
Lexie is a very special little dog. When no one else really wants to hear what I have to say she is always there to listen, even though she can't talk back, she shows she really cares. She will bark if strangers come, but is otherwise a friendly little one, and wins over people wherever she goes. She is the best.
