This is Ohana, a purebred German Shepherd Dog. Raising her from 16 weeks we developed a very special bond and are always in tune with each other. She is the smartest dog I've ever had and I have been blessed with some good ones over the years. She loves to run and will chase a ball until my arm wears out. The beach is also a favorite and she is a natural ocean swimmer. With her housemate, a Chocolate Lab named Max, they love to compete for a tennis ball in the ocean surf. They have gotten very good at knowing when the beach break surf will carry them into shore. Surfer Dogs!
Riding in the car is always high on the list and if the windows are down, she will often talk to the passengers or driver next to us at a stop light. Ohana loves life and is always giving her best attention to our family pack.
