My
name is Muffin. I'm an eleven-pound Pekingese and I live with my
granny and mommy in the state of Georgia, which is located in the
southeastern corner of the United States of America. I was only five
weeks old when I came to live with my people.
I have stuffed toys by the garbage bags full and have had some of them
since I was first brought here. I never tear up a toy and I understand
when I'm told to pick them up and take them to mommy's room at night. I
love to play with granny. She throws the toys and I bring them
back. Sometimes I carry one and she chases me but she gets tired of that
and I don't try that much anymore. I like to play tug of war with her
and mommy, too.
I like to chase granny's feet when she has on her soft bedroom shoes. I
don't bite her feet, but to listen to me growl you'd think I was tearing
her to pieces.
I love my people very much. They spoil me a lot because they love me so
much. When they go up town, they always bring me a toy. I dance around
on my back legs and stand up real straight. Granny gives me the toy and
tells me to go show it to mommy. I do and she makes a big fuss over my
pretty new toy.
I sometimes make a noise they don't understand. I hear mommy tell
granny she thinks I'm trying my best to talk. Well, I am, but I haven't
mastered that yet. But I'll keep trying. And I'm a good little watch
dog, too. I don't bark much but if there is danger, I let them know.
