There
is not enough space to tell you what makes Heidi special. Heidi
was found in a storm drain near Houston, Texas. She was a young "unwed
mother" with three puppies. She was emaciated and barely alive, trying
to keep her puppies alive. She was rescued by a friend of ours who knew
we wanted a dog. Our friend nursed Heidi and the puppies back to health,
found homes for the puppies and then we traveled to Texas to meet Heidi
and bring her back with us. She is one of few dogs who has frequent
flyer miles! She goes everywhere, the gym, office supply store and even
art openings. She loves our local dog boutique where her head shot is
prominently displayed (hey, this is Hollywood.) Her real loves are
playing ball, running in the park and being invited up on the couch to
watch TV.
Everyone uses the word "sweet" to describe Heidi and she equally melts
the heart of dog lovers and even former cat lovers. Heidi is the dog of our lives.
