My dog's name is Renha (re-na) which is a German city, and she is nine years old. She is a German shepherd mix (we don't know what she is mixed with).
Renha is my amazing dog. She did not have the best start in life, with being left in a basement for two years getting attacked by other dogs. Then she had to get 72 stitches on her body. But the person who had her decided to sell her for the price of a bag of dog food for his other dogs at a gas station.
My grandma's friend bought her and took her home and made her feel comfortable, but the second my grandma came over, heard the story and saw her, she knew she had to take her. So she convinced him to let her take Renha, she took her home and then later brought her to my house. Everytime she brought her here, she would have so much fun with us kids, that when it was time for her to leave she would sit and cry to come back.
One day my grandma called my sister and told her she needed to come pick her up and take her to her new home, now that was over five years ago and now she is happy as can be. She has become the closest to me and sleeps with me every night and follows me where ever I go and she is the sweetest girl ever and I can't wait for years to come, making more amazing memories and trying to help her forget about her past. That is Renha's story.
