This is Taz. She is a ten-year-old Beagle mix. She is a very sweet, friendly dog. What she is mixed with besides beagle, we do not know, but the beagle genes are predominant both in her looks and pretty coloring, but also in her behavior. We quickly learned that you do not walk a beagle - the beagle's nose is in charge, you just get to hold the leash and follow along for the adventure. Her voice is also much more of a bay than a bark, and she cn be very vocal if she feels the need. This can be explaining that it is dinner time now, or that there is someone or something invading her territory.
Taz is most special, though, because she is a great dog, and has helped others become loved dogs, too. When we have a foster dog, she teaches them how to be calm, be friendly and ultimately to be loved dogs. She is so sweet and friendly that she wins over hearts, canine and human alike. We love her very much.
