I
adopted Sophie almost two years ago from a semi-close friend, she wanted to
rehome her due to not being able to give her the attention she very much
deserved. Almost from the second Sophie and I met, there was a strong bond.
She was previously living with a couple dachshunds and very much believed she
was just as small as them, causing some of the other house residents to go
spinning in their computer chairs every time she passed.
One of her favorite activities to do now is take a nice short walk to the
nearby park and chase both a ball or a stick. But her all-time favorite thing
to do is meet other dogs. Sophie is highly social and will never turn down
the chance to have a new play-mate of any species.
During her downtime, when she's not running around playing in mud and
wrestling, Sophie just loves to groom the cats and be "nanny" dog to the
ferrets in the home. More things Sophie enjoys is getting into the trash
(just to see what's in there), running (given the opportunity she will just
run and run), and meeting people on the walk while her owners are getting
non-stop questions about what breed she is.
