Daisy
is special because we adopted her fourteen years ago from a local pound and
it was the best decision we have ever made. She's the smartest dog we know,
and anyone that meets her agrees! She's definitely a special member of the
family. She's getting up there in age, but doesn't show too many signs of
slowing down just yet - she still plays with toys, enjoys two walks per day and
enjoys the company of people (especially sitting in their laps like a little
doll). We love her to bits!
She has a hilarious personality and makes everyone laugh, especially because
of her smartness and tricks. She especially likes older people (specifically
women) for some reason. Some tricks that she knows include opening and
closing the screen door (example in previous email), playing dead, ringing a
bell to go outside, and other basic dog tricks. She loves playing
hide-and-go-seek; my mum would cover Daisy's eyes and ears and then let her
go, and she will search around the house for whoever was hiding. She's very
affectionate and always needs to be on someone's lap and constantly needs to
be being touched and will bring your hand towards her if you stop even for a
second. She is very special.
