Hello,
my name is Benji I am a beagle mix and I was living for two years on
the streets in Bulgaria. This was no fun, my great long beagle ears were
cut off. Believe me it was so painful, and the vet told my adopted mom that
I had enough pain for my whole life. Mom doesn't mind, she says I look
handsome and different just the way I am.
I was always hungry, but now I have a home. I looked for someone and my mom
came to Bulgaria in October 2011 and I saw her at the bus station and I
said, "Hello..," believe me I wanted her. Every time I saw her I went to
her, and I looked her in her eyes. Then she feed me, I was very happy. I
thought why don't you take me home? One day someone shot me and I had a
wound I was running to my mom ( she was not my mom at this time) she looked
at me and spoke with a soft voice, but she did not take me in her home.
Next day I went to her again, and she took me to the vet and then she took
me to her home. I was very quite and I hoped she does not throw me out of
her apartment. No, she did not now she is my mom and I love her very much.
Get great food and snacks.
It would be an honor to me to be a dog of the day. I apologize for my
English, but I am not use to talk English.

Benji is such a sweet dog, and maybe a little spoiled. I bought him an
orthopedic bed, and now I have to carry him out for a pee, because he loves
to lay in this bed.
The first time when he went with a car he threw up, but now he loves to go
for car rides. He still is frightened of other dogs, because he was in a
shelter with other dogs. People said that he was aggressive, but he is not
aggressive, and he loves children. He is my prince, my Baby and I am
thankful I took him into my home. I have had him now for one year. He was
very sick, because he got a disease from a tick, but he got medicine and
now everything is okay.
I believe God has given this dog to me, and I really want to tell people
that they should adopt a street dog, because they will be the best friends.
It took one year for him to trust me, and now we are the very best of
friends. I love him and he loves me. He is very beautiful to me, and I am
able to touch his ears and he trusts me, which means the world to me.
