Kamodo
has always been a great dog!
In 2012 I got really sick, after being misdiagnosed, three times, I ended
up in the hospital. They ran a bunch of tests, and it turned out that I
had a really bad infection. The infection had gotten into my heart, it was
endocarditis. This is usually fatal. I wasn't given a very good chance of
living. I ended up getting a Total Artificial Heart in November 2012. I
was stuck at the hospital for two and a half months. My friend watched Kamodo for
us. When I got home from the hospital, and she brought him home, he saw me
and jumped and just went crazy. Whenever my machine would alarm because of
the batteries or something, the dog would come running and wouldn't leave
my side until the alarms went off, even though he had no formal training!
Kamodo is a very friendly, loving dog. He thinks he's a human. He is very
protective of me. He's not much for doing tricks. He loves kids, although
does not have much love for tiny dogs, lol. He likes to run along the
fence out back and protect our house! He's just my loyal buddy!
