Luna
is our blue nose pit bull What makes my pet special is her absolute love
and devotion to me and my family. She also has an innate ability to make
everyone she meets fall in love with her.
She's perfect the way she is, a 55-pound (25kg) lap dog that delivers tons of
slobbery kisses, a special palate for our shoes, A boss at playing "catch me
if you can." To us, she is perfect!
She has the best personality! A very sweet disposition. She is not
independent, she rarely does anything by herself. Always wants to be near one
of us whether its laying down on our lap or sitting at our feet. She loves to
meet new people... my neighbors are always commenting on how gentle and sweet
she is. She is very playful and affectionate. She loves stuffed animals and
will carry them with her everywhere she goes but also loves to play more
vigorously with some of her toys. Fortunately for us she only plays rough
with toys that are designed for that kind of play such as ropes, play "tires", etc.
She knows a few tricks like "shake" and "stay" until she gets the command to
go. Recently our eleven-year-old son has taught her to play soccer. She will run
after a ball and when it is in the air she will hit it with her nose much
like a soccer player does with their head (see attached pic). He is working
on hide and seek with her and she is doing very well with that. She is very
good with her nose and can trace his scent anywhere that he hides. Our next
step is to get her to search for objects that we have hidden. We love her!
