This is my harlequin Beauceron, her name is Ygritte. She's the smartest and cutest dog I have ever met. She loves cuddling more than anything. She's my first dog of this breed, so I learn new things about her every day. She just turned a year old, so she is still a growing puppy. We have been to the beach, which she loved, and on hikes in the forest. She enjoys everything we do. We love each other's company and we love working together. Beaucerons are a French breed and are working dogs, they are bred to be herding dogs and livestock guardains, so she likes to have a "job" to do. Ygritte is very active and she is great at sports.
We tried Frisbee, rally-obedience and tracking so far. In May we will have our first agility seminar and this is the sport that I want to focus on mostly. Ygritte's mother is very talented in that matter and I hope that Ygritte will be, too. She is definitely fast and jumpy, she learns quickly, so I think she will love it. I have to say that I was a little afraid of taking a new puppy, especially of this breed but I don't regret it at all. Ygritte is a great dog, and on top of that she is extremely beautiful. I love her very much!
