Duke is my beloved Golden Retriever, and he is eight years old. I suffer from anxiety and depression and Duke is the most amazing therapy dog there is! He is always by my side and there to cheer me up when I'm down.
Duke loves walks in the woods, on the beach - wherever I go, no matter the weather, he is right there with me. Having him means I have to go outside to take him out, and that keeps me better in touch with the natural world around me than I would ever be otherwise. I swear those brown eyes can see right into my heart. He is not only handsome, but helpful, and definately a girl's best friend. I adore him, and know he loves me right back.
