This is my sweet girl, Cupcake. She is a "Shichon" (Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise Mix). She has been with me since she was nine weeks old and we have traveled quite a bit. Cupcake has lived in Washington, D.C., New York, Maryland, and even Shanghai, China for a year and a half.
Cupcake is the first dog for me and my husband. We got her as a puppy at nine weeks and she has been part of our family for over seven years. Cupcake is super friendly and affectionate. She thinks anyone that comes to our home is there to see her! She will walk up to anyone for a pet and has even been tempted to jump inside stranger's cars for a ride. She is very loving and playful.
One of her greatest delights is to de-stuff a squeaky toy and throw the cotton everywhere. She is very much a people person/people-pleaser who always wants your attention and affection. Cupcake's favorite trick is to stand on her hind legs and twirl in a circle. She is very good at doing this when she knows she will get a treat at the end! I have been told that I should train her to balance a ball on the top of her nose while she does it, but she hasn't gotten to that level of coordination yet. She is the sweetest dog who gets along with everyone and is my constant companion.
