Loki is my beautiful little blue merle, and he is true to his name. Like the Norse mythology god Loki he is handsome, mischievous, and energetic. But he is also loving and super sweet. He gives great hugs and kisses, and loves cuddles.
He has two big brothers who are also shelties, Jack and his uncle Goose! He loves playing with them and at the end of a play-filled day he loves to lay down next to them and sleep. Then he dreams puppy dreams of the day he will finally catch the chipmunk in the backyard, and finally get that wiggly tail that seems to escape him every time! We love Loki!
He is indeed a barky boy who protects his pack! Since he is the baby of the group he gets special treatment from his uncle Goose and our little alpha Jack, but that does not stop Jack and Goose from herding him around the yard. One of my favorite things is when my little nieces and nephews (all eight of them) come over to play, the dogs love to chase them around and herd them, making happy dogs and playful kiddos. Loki is a very gentle pup who loves other animals, he loves to let the fish in our pond come to the top of the water and boop his nose! He is such a good boy!
