Smokie is a very happy dog. He likes to make his "Happy Smokie" face which you will see in the photo. It is so cute it makes me smile back at him every time.
I love him because he remains happy even through the rough times. He was adopted from the animal shelter last year. We do not know how anyone could ever have given him up, but that does not matter now.
He likes to lick my hand and say hello. He is very protective, but in a good way. Smokie has a very long tongue - which you can see, it very rarely stays inside his mouth for long. Smokie likes to have his belly rubbed, and prefers to sleep on chairs. Smokie is the happiest funny dog I have ever met, and I love him.
