Introducing Miri, a very friendly and pleasant Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She is very fluffy, kind and photogenic, too. She will turn 12 years old in a month.
She is our second Corgi. Her name is actually Miracle because on the death of our first corgi, Millie, our breeder reminded us of a clause in the contract that she would replace Millie if anyhing hapened; with another fluffy coated puppy. Millie died from cancer at just two and a half years old.
I believe neither of Miri's parents were fluffies. We waited a year to find her, and the miracle of our girl happened. We thought of Mira as her call name, but we have a friend by that name (Miriam never occurred to us at that time). Besides, Miri in Mandarin sounds like pretty.
Miri loves to play fetch and loves meeting other dogs and people, especially little kids and also do not forget food. She loves to eat and will do any tricks like sit, stay, rollover, bow, be gentle when requested, for you for food and that even includes you asking her "Miri....what's the square root of 9 ?" She answers: "Whoof ! whoof! Whoof!" She's a real smart cookie isn't she? We love her!
