Pixie is a spunky and sweet girl, who loves nothing more than cuddling up with one of her favorite humans on the bed. Soft pillows and blankets are her one true love - aside from ice cream, that is!
Pixie has made such a mark on my heart. She serves as the inspiration for my fantasy novel series, "Fairy Blood," and my family and I have taken literally hundreds of pictures of her. When she isn't cuddling or eating, Pixie takes her job of guarding the house very seriously. Like most small dogs, she doesn't see herself as tiny. In fact, my husband often says that personality-wise, she's bigger than the entire house. I can believe it.
Back in her youth, she was quite fashionable. I still have a large gym bag filled with all the clothes that she used to wear. But being a supermodel is hard work! Pixie is now gratefully retired, and has let herself go to some extent. There is an old Spanish proverb which reads, "how beautiful it is to do nothing, and then rest afterward." Pixie follows this wonderful advice to the letter.
