Max has a moody glare, beautiful ears and a sweet temperament! He also has spots like a Dalmatian mostly on his belly! If I am ever upset, he will comfort and snuggle up to me, but I'm sure most dogs do the same!
We did have another Jack Russell years back, but Max has a very easy-going temperament most times, he loves other dogs and even strangers. We bought him a few years back from the dog's home as a companion for our other dog, who was a staffie. Sadly, he passed away as he was a very old dog. Max was quite lonely without him. He does at times have a very fiery personality when he sees cats, he dislikes them very much.
We have to keep him on the lead as the reason Max was a stray when they found him, which is because he runs off as soon as he gets chance. He has a very sweet personality and if someone is upset, will paw at them and comfort them, he gets very distressed about it. Max doesn't appear to know any tricks at all, though like with my older dog who could learn, I did try and teach him. He always needs someone around at most times because if anyone leaves the house you can probably hear him down the street! He loves playing with all sorts of cuddly toys, and can get very feisty, running barking and play fighting. He is a typical Jack Russell in every sense of the word, though probably much more well-behaved in some ways. Max is extremely well house trained and even waits or lets us know whenever he wants to go out. He's a very fussy eater, but chicken is probably his favorite food of all. We love him.
