To be honest, we were not planning on owning a Pitbull due to having a young child, and the bad rap that they get from society, but when we saw her, we fell in love. She is very sweet and super smart at just four months. Great dogs are not just born that way, it's all about training and socialization. We love having her as a part of our family, and can't wait to see how she grows with us.
As puppies usually are, she is very playful and affectionate, however,she is also very well mannered and intelligent. She makes great eye contact with us when we are talking to her, and most times walks next to us while on the leash. Piper is very focused and listens well to commands. She already knows "Sit" and "Shake Hands," but she is still learning the meaning of "No." Her favorite toys are squeaky pull toys, and just plain old sticks in the yard. We also have a five-year-old cat that is not too crazy about us bringing home this "strange animal" into his domain, but hopefully they will work it out.
