Obi was my second dog, Dimitri was my first. After I met Jamie (who came with our dog Cole), we have gone on to adopt four more dogs for a total of seven. We have a large house and property and treat our dogs like gold.
Our current fur babies are, from oldest to youngest; Dimitri, a 13-year-old Chihuahua, Cole, an eight-year-old Shepherd mix, Oberon, Puck age four and Sadie age three who are Chihuahua mixes, and the puppies Anya, eight-month-old Chihuahua and Zander, a two-month-old Chihuahua mix.
I decided to get Obi when he was four months old. Dimitri needed a brother and I found Obi through an online resource. He was the only offspring of two champion Chihuahuas that got together by accident. The original owner kept him until he was old enough for her to know if he was showable or not. He was not, and I was lucky enough to benefit from that.
Obi has always been cautious, but loving. He takes a little time to get to know people and other dogs, but after he does, he becomings protective and cuddly. He loves to bury his head in your side and get pet. He will dance for you and wave when he wants attention. He loves to protect his older brother, Dimitri, and can't stand to be away from him. He particularly likes women and will warm up to them very quickly.
