We adopted Cici from Paws in the City rescue group. She is a Border Collie, Blue Heeler (also known as Australian Cattle Dog), Australian Shepherd mix - so three herding breeds in one pretty package. She loves to take walks and eat, but otherwise she's pretty lazy. She loves to be petted and scratched behind the ears. She is a very gentle dog and doesn't bark much. She's very special to me.
She is our first herding breed dog. When we saw her, it was love at first sight. She is quiet and gentle, but aggressive when it comes to little dogs. Sometimes she'll play catch, but she doesn't know any other tricks. That is fine with us. She is especially affectionate to me, but my dad and brother not so much. She is afraid of thunderstorms, and like many dogs, especially recue dogs, takes no time gobbling up her food.
