We adopted Bella from our local humane society. Bella is two years old and is a terrier mix. She had been brought in by her family because they were moving and couldn't take her with. She was matted and covered in fleas. She was then adopted out and then brought back the next day due to housetraining issues. The minute I saw Bella I fell in love! She was a little ball of energy! I took my two children, ages six years and the other not quite two years old back to meet her. I was hesitant because I didn't know how Bella felt about children. She gently put her paws on my toddler's shoulders and kissed her on the nose. I knew it was a match made in heaven!
I know a lot of animal advocates say small dogs are not good with children, but she is fantastic. She is so sweet and patient with both of the kids. When it's time to play she goes to my six year old. He calls her his Bella Boo. They are best friends. When its time to cuddle she goes to my daughter. She calls her Bell Bell. We have never had any housetraining issues with her. She is a perfect little angel! She is also very spoiled by her Nana and Grandad who stop by the house every day to let her out to go potty and to play with her! Bella completes our household of three and we will always treasure every moment we have with her!
