Newport is a ten-year-old mix terrier from Coronado, California. He is special because he was a rescue dog and now is a much loved part of our family, as well as our office mascot who greets our clients.
Newport, who we all call Newps, is a day at the beach. What makes him so special is that he is very loyal and well behaved and wil stay by your side. Of course he is house trained, can sit and lay down and stay on command. He is not hyper and does not jump on you or lick you to death. He only barks once in a while at other dogs. He loves all that he meets and will go up to a stranger for pets.
Newps is not a big dog, weighing only about 25lbs. He travels with me on appointments and comes to my office while I am at work. Newps is about as perfect of a dog that anyone can have. The yard that I have the gate has been accidentally open sometimes, and he will not leave his yard without me. He is the sparkle of my eye and I love him as much as I love my grown kids.
