Introducing our tricolor long hair chihuahua, his name is Gizmo like from the movie "Gremlins." When he was a puppy he was all ears, and it suited him perfectly. Gizmo was born the weekend of July 4th. This is a picture of him when he was about one year old. Today, he's about six and a half pounds, as he has been since he reached his adult size. He does not overeat, so has always kept a healthy weight, unlike some Chihuahua we know.
Gizmo is not a bitey or barky dog, even if that's what people think his breed is like. He is very friendly to everyone he meets, though he does alert us to the presence of visitors, he stops barking once we acknowledge we are aware! And he is smart, too. He knows tons of tricks, and has learned everything I could think of to teach him!
