Meet
Adric. He is a one-year-old Keeshond who is
Sarah's
assistant. She had just had surgery to create a stoma in her throat so she could
breathe. Sarah is my heart dog and has helped me through my breast
cancer. Adric is her assistant. He came to me last October with
orders from his breeder and grand-breeder to help Sarah heal mom. He
has been a true delight. He cheers me when I am depressed, he entertains
me when I am bored. He sleeps next to me ever watchful when I have my
treatments and guards me from the intrusions of the world. He has
helped my health improve, and he has helped Sarah too. He keeps her on
her toes, helps her bark because she can no longer bark, he helps her
select the best toy, and helps her clean her dish after dinner. He has
taken over home decorating and yard landscaping duties and avidly keeps
the cats from gaining weight. He has inspired me to write a book which
will be completed in the next few months, about his adventures while
dreaming. Adric my little doodle bug, Sarah and I would be lost with
out you. Dad would be too, though he will never admit it!
