Kichi
is my first dog and I have waited 24 years to get her! (well, not her
in particular, but a dog and one of her breed). She is the perfect dog, and
is every thing shiba. She is devious, loving and soaks up new tricks like a
sponge. She rarely gets into trouble, unless she is digging tunnels in the
yard. Which is okay because it's better than destroying a couch!
We recently got a Ruffwear backpack for her and started going on short hikes
and trails. We eventually want to take her off leash hiking and we are
working up to that. She loves her backpack and it gets me and my other half
out and walking! Sometimes I look at her and can't believe that she's my dog,
It's like a dream come true. For most people it's a weird dream because
everyone has dogs. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up. I had
everything but a dog.
So to see her sitting in the pine forest waiting patiently for me to signal
to her to 'come' reminds me how special she is to me!
