Buddy
is an awesome dog! He's crazy, but super smart at the same time. He is
a Belgian Malinois mix, with what I don't know, as he's a shelter pup. He
knows 109 tricks, and is learning a bunch more. He loves to learn! Buddy and
I do agility for fun and unlike a lot of dogs, Buddy's favorite obstacle is
the weave poles. He always makes everyone laugh because he is very slow and
methodical as he goes through them, which he does at every opportunity.
I believe that Buddy is mixed with Chinese Shar Pei because he has a lot of
extra skin (he just hides it well). Don't tell him that though, as far as
he's concerned he's 100% Malinois. He acts and thinks just like a Mal. He has
earned the reputation of "jaws". He is the ultimate toy destroying machine!
He shredded a Kong (one of the black "most durable" ones, no less) in three days
of receiving it! No toy has withstood his jaws for long.
Everybody's favorite trick of his is "Oh no!" when he covers his eyes with
his paw. It's absolutely adorable! I wish I could catch a picture of him
doing it ... He loves "find" also, he will work for as long as it takes to
find his beloved tennis balls.
He's my first dog, and I couldn't have asked for a better one! He's always at
my side, and always ready to play and have fun. If I'm upset about something
he's always a huge comfort to me. He gives 110% of himself for me and will do
anything that I ask. I love my Buddy!
