This
is our boy Ruby, and he's a much loved mutt - technically a Blue
Heeler/Pointer mix. Ruby was near death, in the hospital for a week with what
turned out to be complications brought on from diabetes. The doctors didn't
think he would make it, and we weren't sure we could handle a diabetic dog
who would need special diet and exercise and at first wouldn't let us give
him his twice daily shots, or test his blood. But it's now over six puppy every
time he meets someone new. His love of life, passion for blogging and the
sweetest soul I've ever known inspire me and push me to be a better person
with each wag of his tail.
