Charlie
is a rescue. The first year he would bite you if he didn't get his
way. He was terrible. Now, after three years, we dress him up ... and he is
great. Patience and love were the key!
He is very athletic! He has his own YouTube page: Charlie Barber. And he is
currently involved in helping the state of Texas "turn blue"! His you tube
page shows some of his favorite activities, which include diving in pool,
frisbee, tetherball and best of all squirrel chasing.
He has turned from awful to a baby. A neighbor calls him an angel. We were at
the end of our rope when our vet suggested a trainer. Charlie spent a week
with Jonathan and came home a changed dog. Jonathan taught us to be better
owners and how to better work with a rescue dog. (first rescue). Charlie is
our 4th Wire Fox Terrier. We knew about the breed ... but add rescue to it
and WHEW!!!
Charlie entered the Mutt Strut in Dallas during the Earth Day event at Oak Cliff Earth Day. He went as a solar panel. His panel read:
"Charged up Charlie". He has an extension cord coming from the panel, but you
can't see it in the picture. He won first place ... a new dog house, and here
is his picture with his prize! The business in background is who sponsored
Mutt Strutt. Also, Charlie has a cat. His name is Frazier. All our pets have
been named after tv characters. Frazier is a Demo-cat.
