Hei!
My dog's name is Elsa and she is almost four years old. Is my dog
special? Yes she is! And why? Because we aren't supposed to have another dog
but our friends called and informed us that his acquaintances had a
pomeranian puppy for sale. My father first refused to even think about the
possibility of us getting a new dog. When he went outside, though, he began
to think, "What if? She could be good for my daughter." We had two weeks to
think about it, because one family was interested our puppy too. We were the
number one priority, as they knew we have had a Pomeranian before. I knew in
my heart that the dog would be ours, and we got it! We came up with the name
from Mauri Kunnas's book. I decide on the name of Elsa. My parents loves the
name immediately. We had to drive a couple hours to Helsinki, because the dog
was brought to us on an Estonian ship.
Since then Elsa has been my best friend. She sleeps with me, sometimes next
to my feet, sometimes on top of my stomach, and sometimes even on my pillow
and under my arm. I tell my dog all my worries and cares. Sometimes it seems
that Elsa understands what I'm saying.
My dog may not be the most obedient, kindest, most incredible, or have done
something amazing, which would make my dog special. Elsa is special because
she is my best friend. That title is not given to just anyone.
I think honoring her could be the way I could show to my dog how much she
means to me. In addition, my dog is photogenic, she loves getting her picture
taken and getting lots of attention. You can see more pictures of
my dog here.
