This
is Dodger, he is a Redbone Coonhound/Labrador Retriever. He is my BIG
protector but very loving at the same time. He is my big cuddle monster that
has an awkward howl from the Coonhound side. I call him my "roo-er" because
randomly he "roo's" or "woof's" just to let his presence be known. He is an
attention hog but that's ok because he is so dang cute! He has a nose on him
that gets him into trouble. When he sticks his nose up in the air and puffs
his neck hair up, he looks just like an elk when they run through the woods.
I adopted him when he was two months old from a Shelter here in Oregon and we
immediately had a connection. He has a toy star that he absolutely loves that
we play fetch with every night when I get home from work. When he really gets
playing with me, he'll throw his weight around with me and throw his hips
into me instead of using his mouth, as that is being occupied with his toy
star. He is my absolute best friend in the whole wide world and I wouldn't
give him up if it was the last thing on earth.
