Shae
expresses herself in a very funny way and is always getting into
something. Her best friend is a little Miniature Pinscher who she pokes with
her nose to get him to play.
Well, Shae is very special to us, we rescued her from a shelter and she had
been running wild in the ranches near our town. It took Animal Control a few
weeks to catch her and we just so happened to walk into the local SPCA on the
day that she was put on the floor. We had another dog, so we had to bring him
in to meet her and things did not go to well. But they let us take her home
anyway, knowing we would have to work hard socializing them.
A couple weeks later Shae and Markus, our min pin, were in separable. They
sleep in the same bed sometimes and love hunting rats together in the back
yard. When Shae gets bored she nudges Markus over and over again until he
gets annoyed and chases her around the house. Shae is very smart, and
protective. One day while we were gone a man running from the police jumped
in our backyard and we later found out she had cornered him and held him
their until the police came and detained him. Shae also loves water, when we
take her to the river she will swim up stream and float back on the current,
and do that over and over again until she is tired. She makes us smile every
day with her antics.
