Kane
is about seven years old (we think) and he is a Shepherd mix residing in
Annville, PA with his brother Carter, also a Shepherd mix, but smaller, and
also a rescue dog. Kane had less than 24 hours before he was going to be
euthanized, we were told, but was saved by 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue in
Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania! The moment we saw Kane's picture, we knew he was
the one for us. I instantly fell in love with his smile!
Now that he has his forever home with us, Kane is training to be a Therapy
dog; he loves people, especially kids and is never short on kisses! So the
biggest part of therapy dog training will be learning when to deliver kisses,
and when not to, which will be much harder for him! But he is such a good
boy, we know he will do well. His three favorite things (besides his mom, of
course) are walks, treats and belly rubs.
