My
family and I work with an animal rescue agency called Brother Wolf. Rue
was one of our foster babies. She had been rescued, along with over twenty
other puppies, in a puppy mill raid. We fostered her and two other puppies
for about two weeks, and we ended up just falling in love with her. Our best
guess is she is a Toy poodle/greyhound/terrier/chihuahua mix!
Rue never went through the whole "nippy" stage, but she seems to be
permanently stuck in the "insane" stage. She barely ever calms down, and she
entertains herself by running around the house at the speed of light and
growling at inanimate objects. Anytime she meets a new person, she gets super
excited and usually pees on their feet ... we're trying to break her of that.
In all, she's a very sweet dog, and I love her very much.
