Diamond
is truly a one-of-a-kind dog. When we first got her we could tell
that she was going to be a diva, but we had no idea there was a large amount
of goat hidden in there as well! She's loyal, loving, extremely goofy and not
to mention clever. She loves water guns, being cuddled, and going for runs
out on our farm.
Diamond is an Australian Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog cross (7/8 being
Aussie) from working parents out on a ranch in Colorado. She has her daddy's
coat color and blue eye but her mom's build and personality all the way! She
was the runt of a litter of eight, but I'm sure she'll be outgrowing her
brothers and sisters. The little fluff ball that started out at 4 lbs. is now
weighing in at about 45, and still growing!
She has recently celebrated her first birthday (as you can see) and is going
into advanced obedience as well as agility training. Ever seen a dog with
some crazy dance moves? This girl has it all!
Diamond has always been the shy kind, but once she warms up to you the hugs
and kisses never stop. Not to mention her little nub of a tail... when it
goes it's fast enough to generate energy! She doesn't show her affections to
a lot of people, but if you're on her 'family list' she's loyal until the
end. Honestly I can't remember a day since we got her where she hasn't
followed me everywhere I went. Not a day goes by without being brightened up
by this lovely dog's smile and undying loyalty. I really don't know what I'd
do without her!
