Chance
lives up to his name, as we had no intention on adopting him. My
husband and I went to our local animal shelter to check on a pit bull who was
finally captured after running through our neighborhood for one month. But
when we arrived, we were told the stray pittie was showing signs of
aggression, and therefore not available for viewing.
As we were leaving, Chance was being walked back into the shelter by a
volunteer. He came over to my husband and me as if he had known us all of his
short, eight months of life. It was truly love at first lick!
With his arrival, he has inspired me to create Pawsh Petisserie,
all-natural dog treats. Inspired by a "chance" meeting of a beautiful dog.
Chance is truly an oversized puppy/lion cub! His favorite pastime is
antagonizing his little big sister, twelve pound (5.4kg) Zora the Min Pin. He also somehow
feels he gets super powers when his chew antler is in his mouth, as he runs
from the first floor to the second at 90mph!
He has learned to give us five (although it's more of a slap with his massive
paw) and to lay down for treats! He is special to us!
