LLucky was part of a litter of puppies born at the animal shelter two days after his mother was rescued from an animal hoarder,
whose home was taken over by 38 dogs. That is how he got his name, because he was very lucky to not have to live in that kind of house.
We adopted him from the shelter when he was a little puppy. He was always very playful and happy. We have a large yard, so he would run around and enjoy himself completely. He hates baths, and so he quickly learned the word, and runs away wagging his tail when we say it. Over time he grew to develop quite a large vocabulary, responding to more than a dozen words. He likes to chase squirrels, and any other small animal that wanders into our yard. He often pops up onto his hind legs to see farther. He makes a cute "bo" sound when hes excited, and a funny sounding howl too. He is a very happy dog, and we are very happy to have him.
