Introducing JD,
the fabulous Pointer/Dalmatian mix. JD loves to take photos and dress up for the holidays. He was rescued on his 30th day, which was scheduled to be his last day on Earth.
The funny thing is, instead of us rescuing him, he rescued us. At a time
when we had lost most of our janitorial business due to the sluggish
economy, we decided to take the jewelry we had saved for retirement and
sell it on eBay. With no interest or responses, we decided to out a
different picture of JD with each item listed. Before long we had people
asking "if I buy the jewelry does the cute dog come with it?" and other
forms of flattery. Flash forward two years, and now JD has his own
successful site on eBay and
his own domain name jdsjewelryandgems.com. And with his luck our
janitorial business has returned. He has become quite the ham, with each
new item listed comes a new photo shoot and JD is more than happy to
comply.
He is joined by his three fellow rescue dogs, including his
fiancée Daisy (he is smitten with her), as they thrive, going for walks,
catching balls, swimming, and enjoying the simple things in life shelter
dogs lack. These guys are not only our pets, but part of our family. We
treasure each day we are given with them.
