Peanut is my Emotional Support Animal (ESA.) He helps me with my anxiety disorders by calming me during panic attacks and redirecting attention. He goes into restaurants and stores with me and is so quiet that people barely even notice that he's there. Unless he's riding in his backpack carrier ... Then, people stop me to ask if they can take pictures of him, haha!
Having Peanut with me enables me to live a (fairly) normal life. I've only had him for about nine months now but in that time, he's helped me make a lot of progress with my anxiety and I'm much happier because of it. He's really good at giving high-fives too! He is one year, and three months old, so he is a young dog, and I hope to have him with me for a very long time. I love him!
