Scrat has been the family pet for eight years now. He was the nephew of our previous dog. Even so they could not have been more different. Scrat is the most cuddly, smiley dog you could ask for. My whole family loves him to bits. In fact I will let some of my family members wight about him and how important he has been for us as a family. I hope these stories will help you all see how important he has been for us as a family and as individuals.
From Seth, age 10: When we first brought Scrat home and brought him out of the car he was so excited he started eating stones off the driveway. He also had a thing with chewing on the back leg of our other dog. It was like he thought it was a chicken wing. Since we got him, I have been taking naps with him. He loves to cuddle and also when I was little I would put him in the back of my electric dump-truck and drive around with him."
From Haley, age 18: Scrat has been the most supportive thing in our lives. All of these years he has been there to listen and comfort us, never complaining about anything other then not getting petted quite enough. He loves going outside and is one of the main reasons I have been able to get back in shape. Often we go hiking with Scrat, letting him roam around and just enjoy the outside. He keeps a good eye on anyone who doesn't know the woods we walk in, keeping them from getting lost or hurt.
Overall Scrat has been a loyal pet who keeps us all safe and sound. We hope all of you see how much he means to our family and all those who meet him.
