Two years ago we got Korek from a shelter. He was afraid of almost everything. He probably lived freely in the country as a stray, no one took care of him, he never belonged to anyone. He got caught, then spent a few months in the shelter and then we found him.
It took him about a week or two before he started walking around the house. He was afraid of, among others things, feet, noise (children laughing), the sound of hitting the ball and ball itself, and dog-toys. He didn't know what a toy was, or what should he do with it. But he was friendly, cheerful and calm, and full of trust. And we ... we were patient.
Now we have the best, the most loyal, devoted and incredibly people trusting Dog. Whenever he hears someone, right away you can hear his tail hitting on the floor. If you speak to him, his tail is thumping faster. And when he finally sees you, he is wagging around his whole back end. He is still is not sure about cuddling. but that does not bother us. He is just Dog of my every single Day.
