I fostered Be for a month after my dachshund passed away. I wanted another dachshund eventually, but wasn't ready to love another dog yet. But Be came to me scared and confused, probably missing her human as much as I was missing my dog. We needed each other and she quickly made me see we were a good match.
She has brought me so much joy as she has come out of her shell and shown her true personality. She loves to cuddle and hike and chase squirrels. She is an adorable little peanut and her wagging tail makes her whole body shake with happiness! It is impossible not to smile when you look at her.
