Sophie is my BFF (best friend forever). She's a beautiful Standard from red and apricot parents and is my third standard poodle, you can probably guess I love the breed.
Soph, Shmoph, BabyGirl, has a few favorite things. These include Squid (her first squeaky toy), balls, (she can find them anywhere) and cookies (which she receives generously). Walks are a favorite pastime, especially to the local dog park where she turns on her charm to meet and greet every dog and human that comes there before instigating a game of chase or taking it upon herself to protect the world from the domination of squirrels and rabbits (watch out guys - you've been warned)!
She is a born runner and loves to get chased by her best friend Sadie, a yellow lab mix. Of course she knows many tricks, did great in agility class and is the best ball catcher ever! Just ask her, she'll let you know, (have you got a cookie?).
People stop her in the street to remark on her beauty, which doesn't seem to have gone to her head, she just sits patiently and waits for more pats and attention. Talk too long, though, and she'll let you know that she hears that there are folks at the park that need tending to. Sophie's circle of friends reaches far and wide as she enjoys camping, hiking in the woods, visiting parks and friends.
I think what I love most about Sophie is that she is my friend. I am also one Sophie's favorite things and I am happy to sing her praises here to share with everyone! I hope you enjoy my beautiful girl, I think she is so special! Go Soph!
